amea . Cece im Never trouble trouble, till trouble troubles you. Jimmy is one lad who needs no introduction for he is known and well-liked by all. Although he may sometimes give the apperance of quietness, he has a clever wit which has provided us with many hilarious moments. Even though he came to us in the middle of his Junior year he made right in with everyone and won for himself some everlasting friendships. Though studying wasn't one of his specialties he managed to come through with average marks in every class. Not knowing what Jim is going to do in the future, we, the Class of '59, wish him the best of luck in whatever he chooses, for if he stays like he is now he is bound for success. Football I, Band l, Junior Prom Committee, Tau Sigma, Senior Hop Committee, History Circle. HBP! 6A6lpWLal'L I burn my candle at both ends, it shall not last the night. Bob, or Chappy, as he is often referred to, has basked in the glory of many honors during his four short years at Clinton High. Governor's Council Representative and National Honor student, he has acquired successfully the unbeatable combination of intelligence and personality, a combination which should carry him far. Bob has aspirations of becoming a dentist. All we can say is that if he continues to show the academic and social know-how in college that he has shown in High School, he cannot fail. Good luck, Bob, from the Class of '59, Science Fair 3, Student Government Representative, Junior Prom Committee, Tau Sigma, Octopus Staff 2, German Club, Science Club, Latin Club 2, History Circle, Math Club, Class Ring Committee, Class Book Staff, National Honor Society, Senior Hop Committee. 6AarA5 Cbiauarazt Worry never did men any good. Here is Connie, known to most as Dino. An easygoing, carefree guy without a worry in the world. His interests are varied. He is an ardent sports fan and enjoys dancing. He can usually be found at most of our high school activities and always lends a helping hand whenever it is needed. Dino is not the studious type by any means, but manages to get by with passing grades. His ready wit and pleasing per- sonality are only two of the many qualities possessed by this young man. Although he has no plans as yet for the future, we know he will be a success in whatever he undertakes. With him, he takes all the best wishes of the Class of '59, Science Club, History Circle, Junior Prom Committee, Baseball l, 2, 3, 4, Football 1, 2, Class Ring Committee, Class Book Staff, Tau Sigma, Glee Club. afyaflfle . A quiet manner hides the mischief in her eyes. Maryanne may seem very quiet to some, but those who know her well know different. She is one of C.H.S.'s few striking blondes and an ex-twirler. Want to know who's in the show? Ask Maryanne-she'll knowl Even though Maryanne spent a great deal of her time selling tickets at the Strand, she was always present to support all school functions. ln her four years at C. H. S., she has made many friends. She has mastered the commercial course, and we know she'll make some lucky boss a fine secretary. Best of luck, Maryanne, from the Class of '59. Quiet, pleasel Does that mean anything to Gen ? We should say not, for Gen certainly cannot be numbered among those who believe that Silence is Golden. Although she never neglected her studies, she has always found time for recreation and thus given us a glimpse of the humorous side of her grand personality. Cheerfulness and willingness we know are powerful assets to anyone and we are con- fident that Gen will succeed in whatever she undertakes. afgafe t UEFA Johnnie come lately and gone too soon. Soft brown hair, dazzling eyes, and a smile as bright as sunshine are three of the more recent lighting facilities acquired from Margie Clark for the halls of C. H.S. She is one of Clinton High's more recent and most valuable assets. Though Margie has iust come to us in our last year she has already gathered a host of friends and admirers. lt is really too bad that she could not have stayed longer, but if she must leave we are glad she is coming with us. We would hate to leave such a treasure behind. Margie plans to tie the knot in the near future and we all envy the lucky man. The Class of '59 gives to her our sincere wishes for a very happy future. History Circle, Kappa Delta Phi, Senior Hop Committee, Octopus Staff. 6aro6n goccione Gentlemen prefer blondes. Pert, popular, and petite are three P's that hide their heads in shame at their inadequacy to describe the loveliness of this Van Brode secretary. Talented as well as popular, Carolyn has lent her charm and acting ability to most of the schaol's dramatic productions. No matter what the class proiect, Carolyn may be found leading a line of enthusiastic and admiring boosters. Her consistently high testimonial grades have won for her an appointment as a St. Vincent nursing candidate. The Class of '59 bids her a fond last farewell and wishes her all the success possible. Cheerful, friendly, coy, filling her companions' hearts with joy. Who is that frightened Freshman, shy Sophomore, ially Junior who became that slightly sophisticated Senior? None other than Carole. Carole has never worried much about studying, because worry only causes wrinkles and who wants wrinkles? Carole can be found at all the football games, heading the trumpet section of the C.H.S. Band. However, her greatest asset is her engaging sense of humor which diffuses an atmosphere of good will and produces merry laughter among her associates. She enioys life thoroughly and is an all-round good sport in every sense of the word. Best of luck in the future, Carole, from the Class of '59.
