She can always be seen at any sports event cheering the Gaels on to victory. Wherever laughter or fun can be found, that's where you'll find Ellie contributing her special brand of laughter. Nevertheless, Ellie has kept her marks above average during her four years at Clinton High School. Although her plans for the future are not certain, we feel sure she will be a great success in whatever field she chooses. Best of luck, Ellie, from the Class of '59. Although she never neglected her studies, she has always found time for recreation and thus given us a glimpse of the humorous side of her grand personality. Cheerfulness and willingness we know are powerful assets to anyone and we are con- fident that Gen will succeed in whatever she undertakes. Although quiet, Sal is well-liked by everyone. His kind word and cheery HelIo for all have made him a great many friends. While in high school Sal managed to get average grades along with contributing to the fun and gaiety of social events. Upon graduation Sal's plans for the future are still unsettled, but we know with his winning ways he can't help but be a success. Best of luck, Sal, from the Class of '59. Carolyn is an attractive Senior miss with a pleasing smile and a pleasant disposi- tion. Her charming manner has succeeded in establishing for her many lasting friend- ships. She may seem shy, but no matter what she does Carolyn has a wonderful time and everyone with her does, too. She has o sparkling personality, a good sense of humor and is always ready with a friendly smile and an encouraging word for every- one. After school she can be seen working in Harpin's Restaurant where she is a very popular waitress. lfliflam 5 Balcocl Why not go out on a limb? That's where all the fruit is. Good-looking, with a ruddy complexion and blond hair, describes Bill. This fellow, whose voice can be heard ringing through the halls of C. H. S., is another senior who was bestowed with the proverbial gift of gab. His readiness for a good time and his wonderful sense of humor have made him popular with all his classmates. Bill never misses a school function or a local dance, and is always there to lend a helping hand. Although books don't seem to bother him, he has always managed to keep on the right side of the fence. Bill's future plans are undecided. He's the boy with the overwhelming smile and the keen mind, capable of comprehending the most intricate details. He has earned one of the most coveted honors at Clinton High, The Harvard Book Award. But there is more than brains in this handsome lad. Among other things there are friendliness and manners, consideration toward every one of his classmates. His dark, striking crew-cut and big brawny frame have made many of the females at C. H. S. take notice of this all-round man. We, the Class of l959, would like to extend our fondest wishes for a successful and prosperous future. We know that you'll be a success in any profession you undertake. Mike is one of our outstanding gentlemen and athletes, well-liked by both students and faculty alike. His impressive list of achievements include election as treasurer of his class, co-captain of the football team, and many others too numerous too mention. A rather Shy-Guy, he nevertheless is one of the most brilliant per- formers on the gridiron, basketball court, and baseball diamond. Scholastically, Mike ranks well up in his class, and although he has not revealed his future plans, the Class of '59 is certain of his success. amea . Cece im Never trouble trouble, till trouble troubles you. Jimmy is one lad who needs no introduction for he is known and well-liked by all. Although he may sometimes give the apperance of quietness, he has a clever wit which has provided us with many hilarious moments. Even though he came to us in the middle of his Junior year he made right in with everyone and won for himself some everlasting friendships. Though studying wasn't one of his specialties he managed to come through with average marks in every class. Not knowing what Jim is going to do in the future, we, the Class of '59, wish him the best of luck in whatever he chooses, for if he stays like he is now he is bound for success. Bob, or Chappy, as he is often referred to, has basked in the glory of many honors during his four short years at Clinton High. Bob has aspirations of becoming a dentist. All we can say is that if he continues to show the academic and social know-how in college that he has shown in High School, he cannot fail. Here is Connie, known to most as Dino. An easygoing, carefree guy without a worry in the world. His interests are varied. He is an ardent sports fan and enjoys dancing. He can usually be found at most of our high school activities and always lends a helping hand whenever it is needed. Dino is not the studious type by any means, but manages to get by with passing grades. His ready wit and pleasing per- sonality are only two of the many qualities possessed by this young man. Although he has no plans as yet for the future, we know he will be a success in whatever he undertakes. A quiet manner hides the mischief in her eyes. Maryanne may seem very quiet to some, but those who know her well know different. She is one of C.H.S.'s few striking blondes and an ex-twirler. Ask Maryanne-she'll knowl Even though Maryanne spent a great deal of her time selling tickets at the Strand, she was always present to support all school functions. ln her four years at C. H.
