Jr.-Sr. Prom—May 15, 1976 The Junior-Senior Prom was given by the juniors for the seniors on May 15,1976. The juniors entitled the prom “Time Will Be Ours Forever.” The Milikin Jazz Band from Milikin University in Decatur began performing at 9:00 P.M. and kept it lively until 11:00 P.M. Between 11:00 and 12:00 everyone went home to change clothes to get ready for after-prom. The afterprom began at 12:30 A.M., with the choice of dancing to the heavy sound of “Hookerwood,” or participating in recreation in the gym. Refreshments for prom and afterprom were provided by the Junior Class. At 5:00 A.M. the dance ended, and everyone attended the breakfast at Open Hearth. 24
