A Time For Us was the theme for the Junior-Senior Prom held May 8 this year. The gym was decorated with streamers, garden fountains, and sundials. The stage became a balcony with a place for couples to sit if they wanted to watch the dancers. The Juniors made little replicas of the sundials as souvenirs for the couples attending the Prom. The Delegation , a rock group, provided both fast and slow music for the occasion. 28

Graduation Day It's true, and at times it seemed a hopeless struggle.' Looking back upon the past four years, it is not only hard to believe, but also rather frightening to think that the Class of 1971 has actually reached its one goal and is about to begin once more. As far as memories are concerned, one can think of endless activities and events that will stay with us forever .... As the end of our Junior year approached, we began looking beyond Prom and high school activities. We began to think about college and our future. Our Senior year found many of us still thinking, and some making final decisions concerning our future plans. This year was undoubtedly the busiest of all, as we make final visits to colleges and prepared for the many year-end activities that faced us as Seniors .... As we go out into the world today, where one finds such a great need for peace and unity, hopefully the Class of 1971 will have benefited from its past weaknesses, and will strive to make their future lives infinitely profitable and successful. -President's Address Susan Kraft 30
