Wise ole Juniors take first place. Maroon rooters capture second place. At the close of a week of long, hard, sometimes frustrating work, the fine efforts of many high school students were displayed as the Homecoming parade marched through the streets of Clinton. Although the skies were gray on this Friday afternoon, October 9, 1970, the spirit of the spectators remained bright. G.A.A. bears down on third place. Homecoming Parade

The fighting Clinton Maroons were defeated by U-High in the Homecoming game, Friday night, October 9, 1970. The final score was 21 8. A very brisk cold wind was braved throughout the game by both the players and the fans. Although U-High beat us, the score did not indicate the equal abilities of the two teams. Both teams fought very hard, but U-High seemed to get the right breaks at the right times.
