JAMES BREWSTER Mr. Brewster, the band director, attended the University of Illinois where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree. He has taught in Clinton, Illinois, for the past twelve years. 25

Mrs. Karr has been teaching at Clinton Community for 4 years as a teacher and several years before as a substitute. MR. ROY THOMPSON Mr. Thompson attended the State University of Iowa, the State University of South Dakota, andl.S.N.U. Mr. Thompson has been teaching in the Clinton Unit for twelve years. MR. RALPH SEIBERT Mr. Seibert has attended U. of I., E. I.U., George Peabody College, and I. S. U. He taught at McLeansbobo Township High School for 2 years and has been teaching at C. C. H. S. for 14 years. Students gain a better understanding of history and the workings of government through the Social Science Department. The classes offered are World History, American History, Sociology, and Government and Economics. Only two years are required. 24

UUrntru MRS. SHARON SIMMONS Mrs. Simmons graduated from I. S. U. where she earned her B.S. in Education. She has been teaching in the Clinton District for three years. MRS. LORENE McKELVEY Mrs. McKelvey has attended the University of Illinois, I. S. U. , and McKendree College. She has taught at Clinton for eighteen years. She has also taught at Beason High, Cutler High, Cullon High, and at Deland-Weldon High School. Clinton Community High School students are very fortunate to have a well equipped and well run library at their disposal. Here students may find materials for their research papers as well as finding interesting books to read for entertainment. 1L
