Z lASl Wlll A IHESIAME I We, the seniors of the Class of '53, do hereby will our ability as salesmen, that we received from last year's graduating class, to next year's struggling yearbook promoters. It may here be noted that you are getting a better deal than we got, because we have superior abilities. The young marrieds Of our class now will their womanly wiles to the hope- ful spinsters of C. C. H. S. We now wish to will all the knowledge we have acquired in these halls of learning to all aspiring young freshmen. In closing, we will our exalted bleacher seats in assembly programs to all underclassmen who have trouble seeing or hearing. I, Janet Wakefield, will my long, blond hair to Mrs. Rhoades, and my nickname Sunshine to David Shindler. I, William Wright, will my Manager ability to Art Bason for the next four years. I, Stanley D. Brandon, will my ability to tell Stanley jokes to Robie .. in hopes that he can tell them better. 5 I, Judy Huff, will my ability to get along with Mrs. Rhoades to any poor stumbling sophomore that needs it. I, Lynn Paddock, will my ability to go steady to Bob Owens. I, Norman Moore, will my faithful church attendance on Wednesday and Sunday nights to Evon Perring. I, Richard Berry, will my locker No. 105 to any underclassman that appreciates good pictures. I, Monica Miller, will my ability to Helen Wagner to play basketball. I, Anna Smith, will my ability to Mary Spainhour to get along with all teachers. We, John Bianucci and Corwin Lane, will our space suits to Billy Lane. I, Dick Ferry, will my window breaking ability to any deserving Freshman. I, Sandy Sisco, will my cowboy boots to Mr. Little since he likes them so well. I, Marie Watkins, will my ability to flirt with all the boys to any girl who is in dire need of it. Now we come to the profession of the soil For as farmers these boys will toil.. Armstrong, Don DeMent and Jones. Will sing as they work, in beautiful tones. Schumaker, Jackson, and Edwin Day They'll be farmers happy and gay. And tall and lanky Ronny West. Of all of thesewill be one of the best. Also a farmer 'will be Fritzi Crang, Many ribbons for his cows he'll hang. A commercial pilot will be Robert Jiles, And fly huge planes miles and miles. In Don Rapp a mechanic you'll find He knows cars from front to hind. Mary Alice Gano will be a stenographer While Henry Martin is a photographer. Mary Jo Farnsworth will own a nursery And Ellen Gunn will deal in artistry. Edna Jones scientific discoveries will make And carry on in Einstein's wake. The third and youngest witch sits and leers Out of her thin curled lip she sneers. Scale of dragon, tooth of wolf. Witches' mummy. maw and gulf Of the ravined salt-sea shark. Root of hemlock digged i' the dark. Slivered in the moon's eclipse. Nose of Turk and Tartar's eyes. Double, double toil and trouble: Fire burn, and caldron bubble. I announce the profession of nurses. Their patients will not go away in hearses. Throw in snakes and eyes of toads. One of these will be Maribeth Rhoades. Included in this is Margaret Maurer. 17 To healthe sick she'll have the power. Along this road will walk Joey Lowe, The seeds of health and life she'll sow. Marilyn Miller will be the same. With careful treatment she'll ease the pain. Mary Rose Thompson will be a nurse too. Your pains and aches she'll cure for you. Marilyn Summers you'll go to with spills and ills She'll give you cough syrup and pink pills. Duke Morrow will also do this work Sickness and duties she will not shirk Now we'll go on to Norman Moore. The sign. public accountant will grace his door Chandler. Miller, and Fleming will be Secretaries who punch a typewriter key. And second Sinatra will be Corwin Lane, Over him the teenagers will all raise cain. Ted Blanchard will grow up to be a man. This is the project which early he began. Connie Sprague all F.H.A. will lead. She'll fulfill national and worldwide need. Mary Kay Chamberlain will be a star. She'll drive about ina Cadillac car, Oren Ruppert will own a Spurgeon sore. Businesslike to the very core, The army will induct Bill Wheeler. When he gets out he'll be a dealer. Joyce Anderson to journalism will aspire Writing editorials with vem and fire. The three witches dance around the pot, Around the steaming, brewing rot. Their eyes they roll. and words they chant, As one last final vow they pant. When last of this class is dead and gone, Last breath of life from them is drawn To grave dark and deep they will be carried By mortician Berry they will be buried.

Betty Ann Houchin, will my homemaking ability to Sara Lee Thoms. Theodore Thomas Blanchard fSamj, will my ability to make straight A to Carole Halsey.
