Hail, all young thanes of Clinton High. fSays youngest hag with witchly cryj Hail, ye class of 53 Gather round and listen to me. Round about the caldron go: In the poisoned entrails throw. Throw in a bloody baboons bone, Ah ha, a barbarous barber will be Jim Wrone, To shave off mustaches men have grown. QThe other witches danced and mocked herj Eastham and Brandonwill each be doctors. As Brandon over patient beams Eastham will sew up all the seams. The youngest witch cavorted round And laughed withhideous, wicked sound: These many will be altar bound: Miller, Smith and Atteberry, Over the threshold husbands will carry, Houchin and Covey, they will be Homemakers of the same variety. Now we come to the profession of the soil For as farmers these boys will toil.. Armstrong, Don DeMent and Jones. Will sing as they work, in beautiful tones. Schumaker, Jackson, and Edwin Day They'll be farmers happy and gay. And tall and lanky Ronny West. Of all of thesewill be one of the best. Also a farmer 'will be Fritzi Crang, Many ribbons for his cows he'll hang. A commercial pilot will be Robert Jiles, And fly huge planes miles and miles. In Don Rapp a mechanic you'll find He knows cars from front to hind. Mary Alice Gano will be a stenographer While Henry Martin is a photographer. Mary Jo Farnsworth will own a nursery And Ellen Gunn will deal in artistry. Edna Jones scientific discoveries will make And carry on in Einstein's wake. The third and youngest witch sits and leers Out of her thin curled lip she sneers. Scale of dragon, tooth of wolf. Witches' mummy. maw and gulf Of the ravined salt-sea shark. Miller, and Fleming will be Secretaries who punch a typewriter key. And second Sinatra will be Corwin Lane, Over him the teenagers will all raise cain. Ted Blanchard will grow up to be a man. This is the project which early he began. Connie Sprague all F.H.A. will lead. She'll fulfill national and worldwide need. Mary Kay Chamberlain will be a star. She'll drive about ina Cadillac car, Oren Ruppert will own a Spurgeon sore. Businesslike to the very core, The army will induct Bill Wheeler. When he gets out he'll be a dealer. Joyce Anderson to journalism will aspire Writing editorials with vem and fire. The three witches dance around the pot, Around the steaming, brewing rot. Their eyes they roll. and words they chant, As one last final vow they pant.
