Consequently, we gave ourselves a few embarrassing moments' such as walking into the pool. Then, too, the class of 1944 came in the rugged way with drinking fountains, lipstick, rolled-up trousers, and VVanna ride, frcshic? Before our warm welcome at Clinton high, the class of '44 had elected Richard Cosgrove as president. Edgar Jones, Mary K. Ivcrsen, Jacqueline Justis and William Andrews were already known as the class brains. As an indication of what they could do, the freshmen presented Thcrc's Always Buford. Leading Twenty
