J YUUIQD The twelfth year of a very efficient high school administration is being completed this spring by W. J. Yourd, principal, who came to Clinton in 1917 from Columbus, Nebraska. The esteem in which he is held by both students and faculty is only one indication of his success in school work. Mr. Yourd received his degree from Maryville College, Maryville, Tennessee, in 1910. Among the different schools he has attended are the University of Nebraska. the University of Chicago, and the Univer- sity of Iowa. Under his expert super- vision, Clinton High School has developed a curriculum particularly suited to the needs of its students. and has gained wide prestige among other leading schools in the state.
