THE CLINTONIAN VOLUME 46 CLINTON CENTRAL SCHOOL CLINTON, NEW YORK Editor: Catriona Galloway Co-editor: Dana Roy THE SENIOR CLASS OF 1980 PRESENTS On a certain day in September 1974, we entered a building we did not know and met a man we did not know This man has guided us through the past six years and now, as we prepare to leave the Clin- ton schools, we feel we have come to know him and we hope that he understands how much he has influenced us. He once said it was his hope to know each of us personally and indeed, through his patience and understanding, he seems to have touched all of our lives He has been more than an administrator; he has been a friend. He has always listened to us, advised us, and trusted us, never doubting our potential. As George Eliot once said, Those who trust us, educate us.” Therefore, it is with great pleasure that we, the graduating class of 1980, dedicate our yearbook to Mr Frank A. Perretta 5 LIFE —SO THEY SAY IS BUT A GAME AND THEY LET IT SLIP AWAY LIKE THE TWILIGHT IN THE ROAD UPHEAD THEY DON’T SEE JUST WHERE WE’RE GOING Scott... WARNING: This yearbook is due to lack of oxygen. 127 THE ROAD NOT TAKEN Vwo roads diverged in a yellow wood, -.And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could p where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair, And having perhaps the better claim, V5 Because it was grassy and wanted wear; Though as for that, the passing there Had worn them really about the same, And both that morning equally lay In leaves no step had trodden black Oh, I kept the first for another day1 Vet knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted if I should ever come back I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I — I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference — Robert Frost
