ALMA MATER Faithful and true-hearted, Let us cheer our dear old High. We revere her and defend her, As her colors proudly fly. We will stand for her united; Of her deeds we gladly tell. Her colors streaming, Glad faces beaming, So here’s a cheer for her That we all love so well. Joyous and ever loyal, Let us cheer our dear old High. Let every heart sing; Let every voice ring; There's no time to grieve or sigh. It’s ever onward Our course pursuing May defeat ne’er our ardor cool. So, united we will cheer for her Our old high school. Where there is much light, the shadows are deepest, Goethe J. W. Boynton Clinton Courier, Inc.

Dedication To express in a small way our gratitude for all that she has done for us, we, the Class of I960, dedicate our Clintonian to Miss Isabel Howlett. Through her vast knowledge and personal interpretation, Miss Howlett has given history real meaning and has communicated to us her own sincere faith in democracy. We watch the newspapers as never before for history in the making. Unforgettable are the written recitations, the friendly discussions, the Mugwumps, and the hysterical Historical Club meetings and trips. Those whom Miss Howlett will teach in the future have a real experience to which they can look forward; those whom she has taught have one to remember. Words can only partially ex- press our feeling when we say, Miss Howlett, thank you.
