Mr. Ronald Wakefield, Art; Mr. Anthony Milograno, Head of Music Department; Mr. Howard Chaney, Art; Mr. John Flaver, Woodwind Instructor. Mrs. Dorothy Olshan, High School Nurse; Mr. Norman Parkhurst, Director of Boys' Physical Education; Miss Carolyn Bolcy, Director of Ciris' Physical Education. Dear Miss Welch, Since you retired in the same manner as you do so many things — without fuss or fanfare — we are taking this way to wish you well. We know we never really thanked you for all you did for us. You brought us through decimals and square roots with flying colors — our class had eighteen one-hundreds” on the math regents! You initiated the custom of eighth grade dances with our class to provide more social life. Your quick sense of humor and adeptness for telling tales, tall or true, made our classes most enjoyable. Most im- portant, however, you instilled in us a sense of pride in our school which has lasted throughout our high school days. Though you have retired and we graduate, your guidance and friendly understanding during our junior high school years will not be forgotten. The Class of 60 10
