MISS KATHRYN DAWES Business A “Whiz” in all her Business classes, her pleasant and understanding manner makes it a pleasure to attend any of her classes. CHARLES BUDESHEIM Music A musical wizard. His natural ability in the Music Department has produced many fine, talented musicians for Clinton and endless pleasure for all. MRS. MARY BUCK Homemaking An expert in the sewing and cooking departments. As the tantalizing aroma of delicious food drifts from the Homemaking Room, we know Mrs. Buck is busy extending her knowledge of cooking to her pupils. MRS. CLARA PETERSEN English A standout in the minds of every one of her students. Students of her classes are constantly pleased by her amusing tales of the vast state of Texas. MRS. BESSIE ADAMS English Social Science A friend of every Junior High student. Her excellent tutoring of our young folks finds them well-prepared for High School. MRS. MAUDE LUTHER Social Science We will always remember our friendly Social Studies teacher as a “Guiding Light” during our bewildering days as 7th and 8th graders. Her understanding manner helped us all get started on the right path to our High School days. MISS MARGARET MOORE English “She is a Philosopher of all.” Her patient, understanding manner and her well-known “Quips and Quotes” make her a favorite to all. HOWARD CHANEY Art The Rembrandt of Clinton High. His artistic skill has added a wonderful touch of beauty to Clinton that will always be remembered.

MISS ETHEL REGIN Librarian Well-known to every student of Clinton High as a guardian of the lib- rary, a second home to many students. A pleasant and friendly person- ality is characteristic of our Miss Regin. MISS FLORENCE DAVIES Business A friend of every Senior to whom we all are very grateful. Her excellent guidance along with her energetic help makes possible the production of our Yearbook. HOWARD VIVYAN Science A pleasant smile, but never a laugh — our science teacher, with his practical witticisms is a “Pal” of all his pupils. HOWARD RAHMLOW Industrial Arts Always willing to lend a helping hand describes our amiable shop teacher. His willingness to give aid makes him a friend. MISS HELEN JACOBS English and Dramatics A lovable type of teacher who is a friend of all. Her “knack” of teaching speech hasbrought many laurels to the participants of Public Speaking. MISS JEANNE de la PORTE English Languages Her quiet and congenial manner adds a pleasant air to all her classses. As an adviser to the Challenger, her aid makes our school newspaper possible. JOHN CRYAN Science As a teacher and as a coach, he will always be remembered for his pleasant and humorous manner. MISS CECELIA KULA Nurse Although comparatively new at Clinton High, our nurse has won the friendship of every student. Her ability to diagnose all our aches and pains, including those sudden ones before exams, makes her “General Physician” of the school. [10]

His excellent direction has led our teams to many victories as well as a championship. MISS ISABEL HOWLETT Social Science Known to be such an authority on history and current affairs that no one contends to challenge. Her pleasant manner makes her liked by all. MISS MILDRED MUENCH Physical Education There could be no better leader of Girls Physical Education than our Miss Muench. Because of her excellent teaching, our girls sports teams have become highly regarded in area competition. HOMER BRAY Agriculture A well-liked teacher in Clinton High is our friendly and congenial “Ag” teacher. His capable guidance in his courses have produced many a fine boy for the Agriculture world. MRS. SYLVIA BARNES Homemaking An inspiration to all her students who are prospective housewives, Mrs. Barnes is just about a “Second Mother” to all of her pupils. MISS GERTRUDE WELCH Mathematics A humorous joke and a cheerful smile for everyone will make her classes a memorable event in the minds of us all. NORMAN PARKHURST Physical Education His humorous manner makes him liked by every student. As a result of his excellent guidance in Physical Education, he has produced many a fine athlete. HAROLD BAIETTI Social Science Well-known as the “Voice of the Clinton Arena” — but most of us, however, will remember him for his excellent guidance and practical advice on any of our problems. PAUL SEYSE Social Science He will be remembered not only for his wonderful manner in class, but also for his extra work with outside school activities.
