Freshman girls soon found out that the attraction in Canastota was cheese-not feminine pulchritufle. Ended l?1'C5l1l11Zlll year with high hopes for success on the second rung. JUNIOR 1945 - 1946 Upperclassmen now-are we proud! Greedingly stand with our backs to the football game in order to sell refreshments. Junior Jive Town Dance on November 3 to top off a successful Community Day. Become ambitious and sell ice-cream in the halls after school. Excitement prevailed when our class rings came. In fact, Miss Moore could hardly control her English class. How we remember painting yards and yards of paper for the Junior Prom decorations. And then there was the day we all climbed the bleachers to pull up the walls. And remember the rides in the Queensboro truck on top of all the lumber? Our Prom theme? Starlight Roof Garden. Class officers: Peter McCabe, Presidentg Mario Perez, Vice-President, Mar- garet Ondarcho, Secretaryg William Churchill, Treasurer. SENIOR 1946 -A 1947 We're really big wheels now. Elected to Student Council were Peter McCabe, Barbara 1-lopp, Rosemary Griffin, Jessie Hucko, and james Sinclair. All in the same homerooms under Miss Dawes and Mr. Baietti. ln the fall, we're busy selling action shots of football games. Start work on the Clintonian in December. We'll never forget Franny Stockbridge pushing a multi-colored couch around the stage in The Trysting Place. Nor will we forget Barbara Hopp's portrayal of Granny in Sparkin. There is little left of Moulton's house after the party following the Senior plays. And remember the day the chemistry class almost blew the school up by dropping white phosphorus and water on the floor. Our last fling as students of C.C.H.S.-the Senior Ball. Well, we've reached the top rung of that ladder, and as we teter dangerously back an-d forth, we wonder what is in the future.
