Cliftonian The 1969 Cliftonian staff chose as the theme of this year’s book, The Torch Has Been Passed.” To carry this theme throughout the book it became a complicated and time-consuming task. It took hours upon hours of work by every member of the staff to complete his job and meet his deadline. It could only have been possible due to the efforts of my dedicated and responsible staff. I’d like to express my thanks to all the members for their help and most especially to Mr. Gover, our advisor, and to Ted Kegel, my assistant editor. We could never have had all of the candids that you will find in the succeeding pages if it hadn’t been for the cooperation of our fine photography club. As you read the book keep in mind the theme. While glancing at the pages notice the beautiful colored pictures and candids on each of the senior pages. Find yourself in a picture that you didn’t even realize had been taken! So don’t stop now!
