Clifton Springs Central School happily welcomed her third American Field Service foreign exchange student, Fabienne Marie Jacqueline Rollin, of Chatou, France. While in Clifton Springs Fabienne resides with the Robert Nelson Family. She devotes her time to studying English 11 and 12, American history, economics, art, and chorus; visiting other schools; giving speeches about France; and participating in various school functions. In Chatou Fabienne studied English, math, physics, chemistry, philosophy, Spanish, history and French. When she returns, she will study at the University in Paris hoping to work in foreign trade. When asked about her feelings toward American life and Clifton Springs she replied, I'm very happy to be in America for this year. It is an experience in living and understanding which has given me more than just an intellectual knowledge. I wish to express my sincere thanks to the town, the school, and my friends for their hospitality and kindness. 23

Senior Class HAZEL CURRAN—Secretary DENNY CHRISTIANSEN—President LINDA MASLYN-Treasurer Absent: ANDY GOODROW—Vice President The class of 1965, since it will be the largest body'ever to graduate from Clifton Springs Central School, has struggled diligently to attain its goals. In order to be assured of our Washington trip, it was necessary for us to raise $7000. Thus, work began early to achieve our mark. As sophomores we sponsored a record hop and gained a substantial profit of $90. From this moment forward our treasury prospered. In October 1963, we held our Junior Prom, Blue Velvet. This occasion was not only memorable, but also profitable, adding $180 to our treasury. Our next endeavor included selling programs and refreshments at the basketball games, which also helped increase our savings. We presented Onions in the Stew , our Junior Play, in March 1964, and the ticket sales jingled that everything was coming up roses. As an additional project during our Junior year, we sold license plates advertising the Finger Lakes Region, which enhanced our treasury with over $300. After a summer of relaxation, we were ready to tackle our magazine campaign in September 1964 with renewed vigor. Our goal was set at $7000, which we successfully attained after much hard work. Washington, the reward we had been striving for, was now our next adventure. On October 15 we were on our way to the Capitol for four fun filled days. Upon returning home we began rehearsing for our Senior play, Meet Me in St. Louis , which we presented in November. At Christmas time we formed a merry group and caroled throughout the village collecting canned goods for the needy families of the area. On February 27, we sponsored a Mardi Gras masquerade ball, donating our profits to the local Chapter of the American Field Service. Graduation, on June 26, 1965 will mark our final step as the class of 1965. In the future we will each depart into different directions, but we will all cherish the memorable days when we were one at Clifton Springs Central School. 24
