Clifton Springs Central School happily welcomed her third American Field Service foreign exchange student, Fabienne Marie Jacqueline Rollin, of Chatou, France. While in Clifton Springs Fabienne resides with the Robert Nelson Family. She devotes her time to studying English 11 and 12, American history, economics, art, and chorus; visiting other schools; giving speeches about France; and participating in various school functions. In Chatou Fabienne studied English, math, physics, chemistry, philosophy, Spanish, history and French. When she returns, she will study at the University in Paris hoping to work in foreign trade. When asked about her feelings toward American life and Clifton Springs she replied, I'm very happy to be in America for this year. It is an experience in living and understanding which has given me more than just an intellectual knowledge. I wish to express my sincere thanks to the town, the school, and my friends for their hospitality and kindness. 23
