HI TRY FRESHMEN YEAR September 1944 we considered ourselves an important part of the estim able society, High School, but soon acquired the title of the 'st1nkyFresh- men H Our attempt for procuring finances for our Senior trip was an in formal dance called nThe Stardusk Dance which put us about five dollars on top Governing our class that year was President Fred LaCla1r Vice President Gert Lindner Secretary Louise Goodman Treasurer Don Lovelace Student Council Shirley McCloud, Bob Griswold Intramural Manager Gert Lindner, Doug Brown SOPHMORE YEAR During our sophmore year, we participated in two assembly programs that consisted of two plays and our members of the biology club entertained the high school with a laugh provoking Kay Kyser show Again we attempted our informal dance and again we had the same results Our second election brought to the offices President Ted Maslyn Vice President Gert Lindner Secretary Mary Vine Treasurer Don Lovelace JUNIOR YEAR Well here we are finally upper classmen Which we were also proud to be, but still met more work and extra responsibilities Our one big event which really was a success was our play 'A Date with Judy', under the dir ection of Miss Pickally and Miss Maul This year we also got our class rings and made a little money on the magazines A king and queen were crowned at the Junior Senior Ball held in June The following took over our Junior Class President Ted Maslyn Vice President Gert Lindner Secretary Fred LaCla1r Treasurer Frances LaCla1r Student Council Ted Maslyn, Don Iovelace, Suzie Roper SENIOR YEAR Our year started off with a bang with much enthusiasm for a class trip First big money making event was the magazines, then the senior play,'Queen for a Day' under the direction of our class advisor, Mrs Cummings Bake sales, tea dances, and a night club entertain ent followed until we reached our quota We left for New York City Tuesday, March 50 and returned Fri day, April 2 This year the basketball team won the Fingerlakes and Sectional cham pionship for the class C league Most of the fellows being seniors we were mighty proud of them The entire student body is proud to win the honor of the Sportsmanship award 9 N ' Student Council--Mary Alice Haygood, Bob Griswold
