LIEUTENANT COLONEL ROBERT E.GERLAUGH LtCol Gerlaugh was bone on Louisville, Kentucky He graduated from Old Center College. Danville, Kentucky in May 1975 with a Bachelor Degree of Arts Degree m Economics He was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in May 1975. LtCol Gerlaugh graduated from the Basic School at Quantico, Virginia in 1975 and was ordered to Naval Air Station, Pensacola, Flonda In 1976 he was transferred to the 2nd Manne Division. Camp Lejeune. North Carohna for duty. In 1978 he was transferred to the 3rd Manne Division, Okinawa, Japan where he served as the Regimental Embarkation OfTicer for 9th and 4th Regiments. In 1979 he was transferred to the 1st Marine Brigade. Kaneohe Bay. Hawaii where he served initially as the Assistance Logistics Officer for Marine Aircraft Group-24 and then as the Logistic Officer for ISt Battalion, , rd Manne Regiment In 1981. he was ordered back to Quantico. Virginia to attend the Advanced Communications Officer ' s Course. In 1982 he was ordered to attend the Logistics Officer ' s Course. Little Creek. Virginia Upon graduation he reported to the U.S. Army Field ArtilleP)- School. Ft. Sill, Oklahoma for duty as the Manne Logistics Instructor. In 1985. he was ordered to the 7th Marine Expeditionary Brigade, 29 Palms, California where he served as the Mantime Prepositioning Force Officer In 1988 he was ordered to attend the College of Naval Command and StalT. Newport. Rhode Island where he earned a Master ' s Degree in National Secunts and Strategic Studies as well as Master of Arts Degree in International Relations from Salve Regina College. Upon graduation in 1989. he reported to Plans. Policies, and Operations Division . Headquarters. US Marine Corps, Washington DC where he served as the Mantime Prepositioning Force Program Officer In 1991 he was promoted to his present rank. In 1992 he was ordered to attend the Manne Corps War College, Quantico, Virginia. Upon graduation in June 1993, he was reassigned as a Faculty Advisor at the Manne Corps Command and Staff College. In 1995 he was transferred to the 1st Force Service Support Group, Camp Pendleton. California where he was assigned as the. G-3 Plans Officer. He assumed his present duties as Commanding OlTicer. MEU Service Support Group 11 in February 19 96. LtCol Gerlaugh ' s awards include the Mentorious Service Medal with two gold stars, Manne Corps Expeditionary Medal, National Defense Service Medal and Sea Service Deployment Ribbon He is married to the former Kathleen J. Crevelyn of Iowa.

COMMANDING OFFICER WILLIE C. MARSH USS CLEVELAND LPD-7 Captain Marsh was borne in Alabama. He graduated from Alabama A M University with a BA Degree in History. Captam Marsh ' s sea dut assignments mclude Division Officer tours as Gunnerv Officer aboard USS OZBOURN (DDG 486) and Missile and Gunnery Officer aboard USS PARSONS (DDG 33). Captain Marsh was assigned early Department Head tours as Operations Officer and Navigator aboard USS PRAIRIE (AD 15) Other Depart- ment Head tours include. Weapons Officer, USS MANLEY (DDG 940) and First Lieutenant and Combat Cargo Officer aboard USS PENSACOLA (LSD 38). Captain Marsh served as Executive Officer aboard USS ST. LOUIS (LKA 1 16), Commanding Officer aboard USS SUMTER (LST 118). Executive Officer aboard USS ESSEX (LHD 2) and his most recent assignment was in the office of the Chief of Naval Operations in Washington, DC as special assistant to the Chief of Naval Operations (CNO). Captain Marsh has a Master of Science (MS) Degree in International Relations from Troy State University and is a graduate of the Armed Forces Staff College. Additionally, he served on the Staff of the Commander in Chief U.S. Pacific Command as J-5, Plans and Japan Desk Officer where he earned a subspecialty designation in Strategic Plans. His awards include the Legion of Merit, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, three Meritorious service Medal, Navy Commendation Medal. Joint Service Achievement Medal and Navy Achievement Medal. Captain Marsh is married to the former Veronica Potts of Tallassee, Alabama. They have to children. Diondre and August.
