Senior Maid, Deborah Dempsey and Ken DiMartino. , .mn 19 4 Football Coronation On the evening of November 17, 1973, the Football Cor- onation was held. Joyce Hutcheson, Mistress of Ceremo- nies, and Dean Telthorst, Master of Ceremonies, hosted the coronation with ease. The retiring Queen, Miss Renee Keig- ley was escorted to the throne by Coach Cliffe. Mr. Glass accompanied at the organ the entrance of the maids and their escorts. Under the direction of Mr. Glass, the Cleve- land Singers performed. The highlight of the evening was the crowining of Miss Deborah Dempsey as the 1973 Foot- ball Queen. Years from now, I will look back on the coronation. What I will re- member most is this, when the crown wouldn't fit my head, someone in the audience yelled, 'Hang it on her ear!
