Business Education Business Education is designed to provide vocational preparation for students planning to enter the business world after graduation. Foreign Language Cleveland High offers instruction in four different lan- guages: Latin, French, Spanish, and German. These courses not only inculcate upon the studenfs facility in reading, writing and speaking the language itself, but also gives hiln an understanding of the customs and lives of the people in which the languages were spoken. GEORGE GAROIAN Physical Education Practical Arts Home Economics equips the student with a basis for effective work in the management of personal and family wardrobes, personal and family diets, and home plan- ning and management. The industrial Arts form the basis for understanding the tools and operations of industry. Training in this area equips one to much more readily acquire salable skills. MR. PETE MERCURIO MR. TOM MINTLE fidgbwmwio Four years of Physical Education is required for graduation unless the student is excused because of ill- ness. The program consists of conditioning exercises, team sports such as basketball, soccer, gymnastics, swim- ming, and track and field athletics.
