Girls' FCA was a very active organization this Qt lr f year. Bible studies were held each week at different i members! homes. Volunteers helped with a Putt- Putt party for the C.C. Cooke Development Center. The girls also sponsored a concert by Chris- r tian rock singer, David Meece, in March. Together, the Boys' and Girls' FCA held a rally with several star athlete speakers. Later in the year, a weekend retreat was held at the Bradley's ranch. S . . . Boys ECA is one of the many active clubs at CHS. The boys are involved in Bible studies, 0 summer conference and during the year sponsor a teachers against the boys basketball game. The Spanish Club, sponsored by Mr. McRuiz, is both an active and fun club at C.H.S. Besides their annual Christmas banquet, held this year at Mercada luarez in Arlington, the Spanish Club has a guest speaker at practically every meeting. The Spanish Club was unable to attend their con- vention in San Antonio this year.
