If) cn Mr. Yanetovich continues to maintain a topnotch Instrumen- tal Music Department. With the Concert Orchestra, Cadet Band, Swing Band, German Band, and the outstanding Crimson Tor- nado Marching Band, this department presents frequent con- certs throughout the year for the enjoyment of school and community music lovers. This year the Crimson Tornado Band had the great honor of being the first Florida band to repre- sent the state at the World ' s Fair which took place in New York. In addition to the multitude of musical opportunities of- fered at C.H.S., there is also a music composition class in which students write their own works which are played in concert by the full band and orchestra. Music is said to have the power to soothe savage beasts. Under the direction of Mr. Sackett our Vocal Music Depart- ment is quite capable of doing this. With Chorus, Choir, Gen- eral Music, and Music Theory Mr. Sackett has launched C.H.S. on the road to music appreciation. Now, don ' t breathe . . . don ' t breathe . . . don ' t breathe!!
