Ag ffr ttu t tott lg R IFS T Y Dear Students: It is my utmost desire that all of you, individually and collectively, have constructive experiences during your stay in Clearwater Senior High School. The faculty joins me in this desire for you to make your school days worthwhile. Your heritage as an American is being seriously threatened and chal- lenged from without. You must be ever mindful of and thankful for the rights and privileges you enjoy as an American. You must also realize there are certain DUTIES and OBLIGATIONS to discharge if you right- fully enjoy the rights and privileges of our democratic way of life. Re- member that democracy is dependent upon an informed, participating people. The American public schools provide opportunities to promote and help perpetuate our democratic ideals. It is your duty and responsi- bility to make the most of your schooling to enable you to transmit a more worthwhile heritage than you received. I have thoroughly enjoyed my associations with you since I came to Clearwater Senior High School. In years to come I hope that when you look through your 1957 Aqua Clara, many pleasant memories will arise. Sincerely, Robert Glenn, Principal EARLE BROWN B S University of Tennessee. We are en- tering a different life from that of school, and We will be confronted with new opportunities, problems, and responsibilities. Our parents, teachers, and friends have been guiding stars in our lives thus far, and it will be up to each of us to make use of the tools of learning which they have provided for us. As we have weathered the storm, We look to the future with our heads held high . . . unafraid and hopeful.
