Before the rotation system went into effect, the battle- cry of lunch time was; ' Out the doors and down the hall, here they come mauling all ' Hurry! The school bus is leaving . . . Five crinolines under one skirt? . . . Save me a place in line. I wish those people wouldn ' t cut . . . Everyone has a pink shirt and black trous- ers .. . The Yankees didn ' t win the pennant? . . . Yes, my book is overdue. I can ' t find it anywhere . . . School ' s outi And the halls fill with people rushing to their busses; a new experience for many. Jackie Longstreet, John Harman, Barbara Burton, Phil Tharp, and Zeig Crook show-off the various fads and fashions of the year: rope beads, Seminole shirt, the long-torso look, long-sleeved pullovers, and the foot- ball players ' much-envied letter jackets.
