You are only Juniors now, Just as we were Juniors — then. But with tomorrow, you too, will share this echo with us. Oh, you smile and jest and take this lightly lightly, But, you too, will listen for this echo. For, Juniors, this school embraced our hopes — Endeared them in the bosom of her presence. She opened her heart to love in common fellowship And turned our dreams to the life and breath of action. She shut her doors upon darkness And dispelled those mists and clouds with wisdom, While on her hearth she breathed warmthh into every dream that we shared with her. We were Juniors then, We who are Seniors now. We’ve come to know this school, But you can’t know it — now. You can’t feel the current Surging upward from within our hearts.
