Under the direction of Coach Don Clare, the '56 baseball team played hard through a rough season, but remained at the bottom in the league. Graduation took five seniors from the team. Six of the '56 team turned out for ,57 practice, and were joined by 20 new players. Coach Fairchild directed practice which was hindered throughout by rain. This was the last year for CLUH in the North Western League Big Four. The league has been dying for lack of members for some time. Beginning with the fall of 1957, we will be members in the North Bay League, Section 3. We will play a regular schedule in football and basketball. Since the North Bay League plays baseball games on Tuesdays and Fridays after school, the travel distance will pre- vent CLUH from playing a regular baseball schedule. We hope to continue playing our natural rivals: Upper Lake, Kelseyville, and Lower Lake. f43 -Q? ax Back row: B. Goodwin, R. Williams P. Marschall, K. Williams, R. Sneed B. Goodwin, M. Colton, T.
