We Dedicate the 1 965 Clahischo to If I were sitting here and the whole outside world were indifferent to ' Q An open textbook, an eager student, and an understanding teacher - these are the essential ingredients for a successful science department. We, at CHS, feel that we have all three. For the past three and a half years Mrs. Sarah Atwater, who by stressing exactness and neatness, has graduated with honors many promising students into higher studies of science. Since her arrival at CHS she has stimulated interest in the field of science and greatly improved our science department by being an inspiration to faculty and students alike. Two People Who Are Themselves Dedicated. what I was doing, I would still want to be doing just what l am. -STEVENS COLLEGE BULLETIN Mr. Herman Vinson, our Guidance Counselor, is another who is deserving of recognition. His contributions are quiet ones: he helps people with problemsg he keeps recordsg he administers testsg he gives advice: he helps students complete college entrance forms. In addition to this he also teaches three courses in the busi- ness department, In return for the priceless gifts of knowledge and inspiration he has bestowed upon us, we dedicate this yearbook to Mr. Herman Vinson. It is our way of express- ing our gratitude and our sincere appreciation for all that he has done as a teacher and guidance counselor for the past nine years in CHS.
