Since we entered high school as awe4 struck freshmen, Mr, Woodard has triedto teach use not only math, algebra, and geometry, but also patience, understanding, integrity, and tolerance. Perhaps he was not aware that he was teaching these last four lessons, nevertheless, he taught them. , There is no way we can really repay him for what he' has done' for us and meant to us, but we hope to show our appreciation in this Way. His aim is to promote first class athletics, sportsmanship, and stu- dents. He is respected by students for both his teaching and coaching abilities. He helped the Class of '61 in our Junior year as our spon- sor. To us he typifies the quali- ties which are found in all good teachers, coaches, and friends. In his first year of coaching, Mr. Wiggins has worked many hours with the boys' basketball team. He has not only developed their abilities as players but has helped them to become better citizens. It is not often that a school the size of Clayton can af- ford to have a coach of the calibre ofMr. Wiggins. The boys on the team as well as the student body thank Mr. Wiggins for his help and wish him much success in many more years of coaching. A Vs?
