fast and Testament State of North Carolina Clayton High School County of Johnston May 21, 1951 City of Clayton We,the Senior Class of 1950-51 of Clayton school realize that our school days will soon come to an end. We feel that members of our class are en- dowed with many valuables, so we will and bequeath them to the following peo- ple, who we think will use them to the best advantage. ARTICLE I We, the Seniors , leave our most sincere thanks and gratitude to our mothers and fathers, our principal, our teachers, and to all the others who have made possible this much of our education. ARTICLE II Section l. To the Juniors we leave our homeroom teacher and our en- joyment of many senior activities with her. Section Z. To the Sophomores we bequeath our co-operative ways and quiet manners. Section 3. To the Freshmen we bequeath three more happy years of school. ARTICLE III Section l. Joyce Ellis bequeaths her happy thoughts to Sam Beddingfield. Section Z. Mary Johnson bequeaths her beautiful blue eyes to Jeanette Hill. Section 3. Betsy Canady bequeaths her love for Charles Stevens to Betsy Ragland and Billy Hinton. Section 4. Jimmy Cordon bequeaths his ability to keep the newest style cars to Proctor Lee. Section 5. Betty Jean Harper bequeaths her poetic ability to Joe Bar- bour. Section 6. Janie Stephenson bequeaths her ability to get along with Gil- liam Underwood to Ann Austin. Section 7. Charles Stewart leaves his studious ways to Jesse Harrison. Now that each senior has left one of his innportant valuables to someone else, we begin to hear a bell of the future.
