IAST WILL AND TESTAMENT State of North Carolina Clayton High School County of Johnston May ZZ, 1950 City of Clayton We, the Senior Class of 1950 of Clayton High School, feel that the end of our school days is drawing near. We have had a hard time climbing the ladder, but at last we have reached the top. We feel that the members of our class are endowed with many valuables, so we will and bequeath them to the following persons, who we think will use them to the best advantage. ARTICLE I We, the Seniors, leave to the faculty our deepest and most sincere thanks for their continuous efforts to help us during our many trials and difficulties. ARTICLE II Section:l. To the Juniors we leave the many happy occasions which will come as a Senior. May their every moment be as blissful as have those of the 1950 Seniors. Section 2. To the Sophomores we leave the twelfth grade literature books, hoping they will get great enjoyment from them in 1952. Section 3. To the Freshmen we leave three years of happy school days. Section 4. To the Student body we leave this annual to remind them of all the many activities which have occurred during this year. ARTICLE III Section 1. Clifton Bagley wills his ability to shoot pool and play cards to Charles Stewart feeling sure this will help him to pass the time more pleasantly. Section 2. Charles Stevens bequeaths to any love sick Junior the old Book- keeping room that he has so faithfully used for four years, with the hope that the walls and chairs will not talk. Section 3. After much thought, Marie Bridges bequeaths her ability to learn Spanish to Jimmie Gordan. Section 4. Roy Coats, dreaming of the future, leaves all the girls in loving care of Kenneth Brown. Section 5. Braxine Truelove leaves her witty ways to Anna Belle Cole al- though Anna Belle really doesn't need them. Section 6. To the school library, Julia Knott bequeaths her extensive voca- bulary knowing that everyone will make good use of it. Section 7. Annette Garris leaves her ability to keep the crowd laughing to Jimmie Barbour, hoping that he will be successful.
