West Chester State Col- SCIENCE DEP RTME T The science department has been actively engaged in developing a more meaningful science curriculum. Successful courses introducing the principles of physics, chemistry, and biology have been insti- tuted in the seventh and eight-grade science classes. An encouraging experiment consisting of chemistry in the tenth- grade to be followed by biology in the eleventh, the reverse of the present teaching schedule, has been initiated this year. If it proves successful, this reversal may become pemianent. These and other planned changes in the science curriculum will bet- ter prepare the college-bound student for college work.
