Limelighters Present Annual Assembly On October l2, 1967 the annual Limelighters Assembly was presented. The first feature, lf Girls Asked Boys, showed what it would be like if the dating situation of today were reversed and if it were the boy who had to Wait for the girl to call. Jim Baker, Frank Brown, Pam Tholl, and janet Pastor had the leads. Between plays the musical department did an excerpt from South Pacific. The second play, starring Rich I-Iarting, Judy Zimmerman and Bruce Wallace was entitled The Telltale Heart. The title is derived from the fact that the assassin can still hear the heartbeat of the victim he stabbed to death. Rich I-Iarting carries the lantern in his search for hidden gold

,,, I- YI Varsity cheerleaders for l967 were: Front row-Sue Dubbs. Peggy Hart, Sheila Hansen. Back row-jean Papp, Jacque Miles, Pat Shearer. Cheerleaders Fire-Up For A Victory r Familiar to the spectators at Clay's football and basketball games are the varsity and reserve cheerleaders. Their efforts are aimed at directing the enthusiasm and school spirit of the crowds to help urge our teams on to victory. At Camp All-American, the summer cheer- leading camp, the varsity squad distinguished themselves by capturing seventh place in group competition. Peggy I-Iart brought further honors to!Clay when she was awarded the second place trophy in individual competition. The cheerleaders decorated the stadium for homecoming and dad's night and diligently made and hung posters each week. With all the hours of hard work, these girls did a tremendous job this year. Y..
