and ability foward student development' The academic standards at Clay have been tradtionally high due, in large mea- sure, to the excellence of the faculty mem- bers. Often they contribute their time after working hours to prepare teaching mater- ials or to supervise student activities. Vaca- tion time for most teachers is spent attend- ing university classes in an effort to increase their personal knowledge so that they can add vitality and interest to their subiect mat- ter.
