Junior High FHA The junior high FHA consisted of 55 members from the seventh and eighth grades. For this year's fundraiser, they sold lollipops. The FFA Champions First Row: lx ri Jones: Champion Potatoes, Kathy Jones: Champion I.amb, Second Row: Chris Clovis: Champion Steer, Rusty Beach: State Farmer for 1986. FFA The FFA is involved in many activities this year. Twelve members of the FFA participated in West Virginia State FFA and Vo-Ag. judging contests at WVU. The FFA also competed in the Conservation and Environmental Contest, the Creed Contest, the Parliamentary Procedure Contest and the live stock show and sale. The FFA members attended the FFA leadership conference and convention. They plan to have their annual banquet in May. Junior High National Honor Society The National Junior High Honor Society held a spring dance on March 27. An air-band competition was held. First place prize was a cash amount of $25.00. The National Honor Society went to Toronto and Niagara Falls, Canada, for the annual spring trip. During National Teachers Week, the members of the National Junior High Honor Society gave each teacher a gift each day of the week. Also, the members picked up garbage around the school in the spring. J.H.N.H.S.
