Donkey Basketball Game C-B Teachers Win Mr. Wilson and Mr. VanMeter are awaiting their turn On November 21, 1986, the junior class sponsored a Donkey Basketball game in the Clay-Battelle gymnasium. The entertainers that night were: male cheerleaders, clowns, pooper scoopers, donkeys, and riders. Between the second and third game Tammie Boylen and Chris Wilson were crowned Mr. and Mrs. Donkey Basketball. The teams participating were: The C-B Boosters, C-B Teachers, Junior Class, and Blacksville Businessmen. Terri, Robin, and Michele decide who’s going to scoop next. Look out Motley Crue, says Mr. Pierce. Mrs. McCabe finally shows up for work. Todd, Trina, Tammie, Chris, Daniel, and Mary Ann ran for Mr. and Mrs. Donkey Basketball. 16 Donkey Basketball Game

Students Concerned With Safety Students Against Driving Drunk is the largest club at Clay-Battelle High School. This is the first year this organization has had over 120 members. All students involved in SADD have a very special “Contract for Life with their parents. This contract is an agreement between the teenager and parent concerning drinking and driving. SADD has four main goals; To help eliminate the drunk drivers and save lives; To conduct community alcohol awareness programs; To alert and inform students of the dangers of alcohol and driving; and to organize a peer counseling program to help students who may have concerns about alcohol. Our motto is: As a team we are a mighty force. If we can dream it — it can be done!
