Seniors Plan Career in Medicine DARLENE PRICE Darlene attended the vo-tech center for a half year and went to the Pace Center for the other half. Her future plans are to gradute and marry Ralph Ashcraft, and maybe later she will get a job work ing with handicapped children. LENA DENICE RABER “Lena Bug was vice-president of FBLA her junior year, secretary of honor society, and a four year member of FFA in which she received a scholarship and leadership award. She was a three year varsity cheerleader and treasurer of student council. Lena was second attendant prom queen and football Homecoming queen. Her future plans are to further her education, get a job and be a good wife and mother. REBECCA JEAN ROUSH Shorty has been a varsity cheerleader for three years where she held the position as captain both her junior and senior year. She received the honor of Most Outstanding Cheerleader her junior year. She was the treasurer of the National Honor Society and was the layout editor and ad manager for the yearbook staff. Becky was the president of FBLA and French Club for two years and the vice-president of the senior class and art club. Becky was also a member of Hearts Unlimited. She was listed in Who's Who Among American High School Students and received the Math Merit Award. During the summer of 1981, she attended FHA Leadership Camp, where she placed second in public speaking. Becky was an office aid and scorekeeper for the Baseball team. She was chosen as the 1984 Junior Carnival Queen and was a candidate for football and basketball Homecoming Queen. Becky plans to attend West Virginia University and major in accounting. ROBERT LEE RUSH Bobby was president and vice-president of the chorus and he was chosen to attend All State Chorus and All County Chorus. He was sergeant-at-arms of the senior class, treasurer of Hearts Unlimited, and a member of the baseball team. Bobby plans to find a job in the future. ANITA KAY SHRIVER Anita Kay was a member of the honor society for five years, reporter of FBLA, secretary of pep club, and she took business cluster at the vo-tech center her junior and senior year. She was a member of the girls varsity basketball team for four years, and she was prom queen and a football Homecoming Queen candidate. Anita plans to become a medical assistant. DEBORAH MICHELLE SIMMONS Debbie was a varsity cheerleader for three years and attended NCA Cheerleading Camp in Charleston. She was copy editor of the Liberanni Staff and sergeant-at-arms of FBLA. Debbie was listed in W ho's Who Among American High School Students. She attended Rhododendron Girls State her junior year and w as secretary of her junior and senior class. Debbie attended Cosmetology at the vo-tech center where she was in VICA. She was first runner-up as Clay-District Fair Queen of 1984 and a football Homecoming Queen candidate. Debbie plans to enroll in Fairmont State College and study optometry. ANITA SHRIVER DEBBIE SIMMONS 16

Seniors BRUCE EDWARD SINE Bruce was a member of the art club his junior year and the Liberanni staff his senior year, where he was art editor. He also attended vo-tech his junior and senior year where he took a drafting class and was a member of VICA. In the future Bruce plans to attend Fairmont State College and major in commercial design graphics technology. BRUCE SINE EVERETT SINE EVERETT ARNOLD SINE “Animal was a member of FFA and held the office of sentinel. He played football for three years where he was named first team All Mason-Dixon for tackle and second team All-State center. Everett plans to take a year off after he graduates and then go to college. TERESA KAY SINE Teresa was a member of the girls varsity basketball team during her junior year where she made second team All Mason-Dixon. She played the position of center her junior year. She held the office of vice-president of the pep club her junior year, sergeant-at-arms of her junior class, and president of her senior class. She was also the 1984 Prom queen. Teresa attended Morgantown Beauty School where she studied cosmetology. Teresa plans to become a successful cosmetologist. LAURA JEAN SPICER Laura was a member of FHA her junior year, FBLA her senior year, student council her junior and senior years, and held the office of sergeant-at-arms of the senior class. She attended vo-tech her senior year where she took business cluster. Laura plans to become a secretary. GERALD HARRISON STATLER “Jug was in the FFA and 200 club. He was on the wrestling team for three years and was a captain his senior year. Gerald's plans are for he and Sharon to be married in the year of 1986. RYAN LYNN STATLER Ryan was in the FFA, art club, and Hearts Unlimited. He was sergeant-at-arms while in the pep club and vice president of the student council.
