Seniors Enlist in Armed Services MARSHA ANN LUCAS Marsha has been a member of the chorus for three years, pep club for five years and FBLA her junior and senior year, where she held the office of reporter her senior year. Marsha attended the vo-tech center her senior year, where she studied business cluster. ROBERT ARNOLD LUZADER, JR. “Bobby” was a member of FHA, junior varsity cheerleading squad, games club, French club, where he was the historian and reporter, and Students Against Drunk Driving, where he was the president. “Bobby’s” achievements and honors are the Voice of Democracy, fourth place in the National French Exam and he was the captain of the junior varsity cheerleading squad. “Bobby” attended vo-tech his junior year for data processing. “Bobby's” future plans are to go to the army to get enough money to put himself through college and to be a collegiate cheerleader. BARRY LYNN MARTINO Barry was a member of the art club and Future Farmers of America, where he held the offices of president and treasurer. Barry plans on attending Fairmont State or get a job in the coal mines. CRAIG ANDREW PARRISH Craig has been a member of the art club, pep club. Future Farmers of America for three years where he held the office of Sergeant-at-arms, and a member of the “Sting” staff, where he is the art editor. Craig also was a member of the football team for one year and a member of the baseball team his senior year. He plans to go to WVU and major in either journalism or theater arts. GLEN BRYON PENNINGTON “Squirt” was in the 200 club, C-B Ironworkers, pep club and has wrestled for 13 years. His senior year he was the captain of the wrestling team. Glen plans to join the navy and marry Sherri Tennant. He also hopes to attend college. CHARLES NELSON POSTLEW'A IT “Chuck” was a January graduate. He liked art class and excelled in drawing. Seniors Plan Career in Medicine DARLENE PRICE Darlene attended the vo-tech center for a half year and went to the Pace Center for the other half. Her future plans are to gradute and marry Ralph Ashcraft, and maybe later she will get a job work ing with handicapped children. LENA DENICE RABER “Lena Bug was vice-president of FBLA her junior year, secretary of honor society, and a four year member of FFA in which she received a scholarship and leadership award. She was a three year varsity cheerleader and treasurer of student council. Lena was second attendant prom queen and football Homecoming queen. Her future plans are to further her education, get a job and be a good wife and mother. REBECCA JEAN ROUSH Shorty has been a varsity cheerleader for three years where she held the position as captain both her junior and senior year. She received the honor of Most Outstanding Cheerleader her junior year. She was the treasurer of the National Honor Society and was the layout editor and ad manager for the yearbook staff. Becky was the president of FBLA and French Club for two years and the vice-president of the senior class and art club. Becky was also a member of Hearts Unlimited. She was listed in Who's Who Among American High School Students and received the Math Merit Award. During the summer of 1981, she attended FHA Leadership Camp, where she placed second in public speaking. Becky was an office aid and scorekeeper for the Baseball team. She was chosen as the 1984 Junior Carnival Queen and was a candidate for football and basketball Homecoming Queen. Becky plans to attend West Virginia University and major in accounting. ROBERT LEE RUSH Bobby was president and vice-president of the chorus and he was chosen to attend All State Chorus and All County Chorus. He was sergeant-at-arms of the senior class, treasurer of Hearts Unlimited, and a member of the baseball team. Bobby plans to find a job in the future. ANITA KAY SHRIVER Anita Kay was a member of the honor society for five years, reporter of FBLA, secretary of pep club, and she took business cluster at the vo-tech center her junior and senior year. She was a member of the girls varsity basketball team for four years, and she was prom queen and a football Homecoming Queen candidate. Anita plans to become a medical assistant. DEBORAH MICHELLE SIMMONS Debbie was a varsity cheerleader for three years and attended NCA Cheerleading Camp in Charleston. She was copy editor of the Liberanni Staff and sergeant-at-arms of FBLA. Debbie was listed in W ho's Who Among American High School Students. She attended Rhododendron Girls State her junior year and w as secretary of her junior and senior class. Debbie attended Cosmetology at the vo-tech center where she was in VICA. She was first runner-up as Clay-District Fair Queen of 1984 and a football Homecoming Queen candidate.
