Senior Plans to Become a Nurse DAVID RAY BARR “Downtown or “Dave played varsity basketball and attended the Vo-tech center where he took building construction and participated in the work co-op program. “Dave plans to attend Fairmont State College after he graduates. LISA RENAE BOWSER Lisa or “Weezie, participated in French club for two years. Hearts Unlimited for two years, student council for three years, FHA for six years, and a Liberanni staff member her senior year. Lisa was first attendant at the 1983 Football Homecoming, she also was a candidate for the 1983 Prom Queen, a candidate for the 1984 Basketball Homecoming Queen and a cafeteria aid her junior year. Lisa served as president of the student council and vice-president of FHA during her senior year, treasurer of the student council and she also served as a sophomore homeroom representative for the student council. Lisa plans to attend cosmetology school. DOUGLAS EDWARD BREWER “Brew or Doug attended auto mechanics and was an active member of the FFA. After graduation “Brew would like to become a carpenter's apprentice. MATT ALLAN CHISLER “Myat was a three year member of the National Junior Honor Society. Matt, also was a participant in the Student council for two years where he held the office of Vice-president. He was an active member in the science club where he was sergeant-at-arms and vice-president, and was a member of the French club where he served as a reporter and sergeant-at-arms. He has also held the position of an executive council member to both the junior high and senior high chorus. Matt, has also been an escort of the Homecoming Queen, Cindy Tennant, a third place award winner in the state competition for the Pollen Book, and a participant in the Voice of Democracy Speech Contest. He also was a six time winner of the Clay-Battelle Science Fair, a three time Fairmont State Regional Science Fair, and a participant in the State Science Fair. “Myatt who has also received a perfect attendance award, was crowned King of the Mardi Gras, a Liberanni staff special events organizer, an honorable mention winner of the United Nations Speech Contest, and he was also featured in the Who's Who Among American High School Students. He played “Marley's Ghost in the play Scrooge and “Myat was a library aid during his senior year. Matt plans to attend college and major in broadcast journalism and minor in personnel management. LISA ANNE CHURCH Lisa participated in one year of Hearts Unlimited and one year of FFA. Lisa also attended the Vo-Tech Center for one year of nursing arts. She plans to further her studies in nursing after she graduates. DENNY RAY CORDER Denny completed two years of precision welding at the Vo-Tech Center, and was in Vocational Industrial Clubs of America his junior year. 1) Lisa Bowser and Matt Chisler served as president and vice-president of the student council. 2) Denny Corder attended Vo-Tech for precision welding. 3) Doug Brewer would like to become a carpenter's apprentice. 4) Davey Barr shows courage and confidence as he oversees the junior high during their lunch hour. 5) Lisa Church studies nursing arts at vo-tech.
