SAM SIMMS DONALD LEE MURRA Y “Duck” played baseball, basketball and football. Following high school Donald plans to work in the coal mines. KIRBY LYNN OWENS Kirby is an active member of Hearts Unlimited and FFA. He has held the office of sergeant-at-arms for Hearts Unlimited and the treasurer of his senior class. Kirby attended vo-tech his junior year and has worked for “Meals on Wheels.” Kirby hopes to continue his education. MARK DAVIS PRICE Mark is an active member of a 4-H club and FFA. He has received many proficiency awards and this past summer he got his State Farmer’s Degree. He has held the office of reporter and president of FFA and also reporter of the 4-H club. He went to conservation camp, leadership camp and also state FFA convention. His future plans are to attend West Virginia University to study veterinary medicine. RICHARD LEON PRICE “Price” has been a member of FFA for four years. His junior year, he was a member of the track team. Richard plans to go to Nashville and attend a diesel and auto college after he graduates. GEORGE DOUGLAS SA YERS JR. George is a member of FFA. He attended vo-tech his junior year and was enrolled in an auto body course. He works at Bell’s Market the second half of the day his senior year. He escorted first attendant, Tonda Holmes, for 1981 Junior-Senior Prom and second attendant, Tonda Holmes for 1981 Miss Celebration. After graduation, George plans to work in the coal mines and spend his time with Tonda. SAMUEL JAMES SIMMS Sam has been an active member of FFA for four years. After Sam graduates, he plans to join the marines. 1) Donald and Mark are both in Mrs. Clark’s second period social studies class. 2) Sometimes I sits and thinks and sometimes I just sits!! 3) Richard plans to attend a diesel and auto college. 4) Kirby and George are both active members of FFA. 21
