Seniors RICKY RAY SHRIVER Ricky was an outstanding FFA member who won the Green Hand Award, Chapter Farmer Award, and the Home Improvement Award. Rick, also a member of the Chess Club, liked hunting and talking on his CB Radio. After graduation he planned to look for a good job that would make him lots of money. DOUGLAS FRANKLIN SMERDELL Doug, one of our class most outstanding athletes, shined in every sport CBHS had to offer. He lettered in basketball three years, where he won All Mason-Dixon and All Tournament Team honors and in football, where he was named to the All County and All Mason-Dixon Teams also. Doug played baseball for two years and ran track for four, enabling him to participate in two State Track Meets. If this wasn’t enough, he spent his spare time golfing and lifting weights. Doug was a Student Council. Thespian and Environmental Club member as well. He was undecided as to whether he would go to college or to work after graduation. VICKI LYNNE SNYDER Vicki was eager to attend WVU where she planned to study accounting. During her years at CBHS, she was a member of the National Honor Society for six years, FHA for four years, as well as Spanish Club, Environmental Club, HU, Thespians and Math Club. She was a member of the 1976 Girls’ Track Team and liked running around, riding motorcycles, swimming, and dating a guy from Mt. Morris. STEVEN MICHAEL STILES Blond-haired and friendly describes Steve who represented his class at Boys’ State and served as treasurer his junior year. Steve played football, track, and baseball and participated in Hearts Unlimited and Student Council. In his spare time, Steve enjoyed hunting, motorcycle riding, fishing and golfing. His future plans were to further his education. SUSAN JOLEEN STROSNIDER joleen reigned as queen of the Sweethearts Ball her senior year and ran for Homecoming, Shamrock, and Prom Queens as an underclassman. Ioey” was in FHA, Thespians, HU, Pep Club, and Spanish Club and on the track team two years. She liked making rugs, listening to music, dancing, and getting into trouble, joleen was optimistic; she planned to get a job and marry a millionaire. RICKY RAY SHRIVER DOUGLAS FRANKLIN SMERDELL VICKI LYNNE SNYDER DAVID LYNN STULL Although Dave’s plan for the future was a welding job, he would make a good farmer with his many awards stemming from his FFA involvement. He won the Green Hand Degree, State Green Hand Degree, and Chapter Farmer Award. Working with animals and hunting were this out-doorsman's hobbies. Seniors FRANCIS GREGORY SWISHER One of ihe first-string varsity basketball players. Greg played in both basketball and track . Also active in Thespians. Greg had a number of roles in plays performed by the Drama class. He was a member of Hearts Unlimited and an escort for both the Prom and Homecoming. Greg’s hobbies were riding motorcycles and running around. After graduation he planned to get a job. STEVEN JOHN TARNOWSKY Steve loved anything having to do with music. He was a member of the CB Band and Pep Band and enjoyed lying around playing his guitar and listening to music. ’’Bingo’s” other hobbies were working on cars and going to Wavnesburg to see Debbie. Steve, a member of Thespians and Hearts Unlimited, was undecided about his future plans. DELBERT GLEN TENNANT. JR. Delbert, another of the senior Future Farmers, liked to work on cars. hunt, and ride motorcycles. Bucky”. as he was called by his friends, was a member of the band. also. He was the only senior who planned to join the Navy ujpxn graduation. ROSIN A CAROLINE TOOTHMAN Determination, eagerness, and hard-work are the ingredients Caroline used to achieve many honors during her high school career. First and ftuemost. Caroline was thv first CB student ever to win a record-breaking 1st place event in a State Track Meet when she won the mile tun in 1976. She received three trophies for hex three years of participation on the track team. Also in sports, Caroline plaved girls basketball and was voted to the All County Team. As an FFA'er. Caroline won sex on awards as well as winning 2nd place in the State Record Book Competition and the Proficiency Award for her sheep. Caroline still found time for studying and was a member of the National Honor Society and her Church's Choir. She planned to continue her bobbies which were plaving softball, cycling, hiking, jogging, and farming after graduation. Beyond ’Jilt, she was undecided. THERESA IRENE TUTTLE Theresa, with her cute smile and friendly way, was familiar to etervooe. Among her many activities were FHA. HU, Environmental Club. Spanish Club, and Jr. High Cheerleading. She held the position of Advertising Manage: of the Vearivok Staff foe two veats. and senir as Sxh Historian and Secretan duri i; her membership in the Jr. add Sr. High National Honor Societies. Theresa spent sixth period each dax as an office aid and was selected to Who's Who Among American High School Students. She was Prom Attendant and ran foe nomceoming Oaeea. Theresa eatjoyec being outdoors and ridiag moeoccxcles. To attend Career OAkge ia Morgantown and become a Medical Assistant were Theresa's plans for the future.
