Seniors KENNY JOSEPH HOLMES Joe was one of the quiet seniors. He attended the Vocational-Technical Center each morning and enjoyed working on cars. He was one of the many seniors who was undecided about his future plans. JENNY LYNN HOSTUTLER Jenny was better known as JL to her friends. She was a member of the Spanish Club and FFA and ran for Prom and Homecoming Queen. Jenny spent most of her spare time sewing, cooking, reading and listening to music. Jenny planned to study X-ray technology at WVU. TERRI LYNN HUGGINS One of the 1977 varsity cheerleaders, Terri was also a member of FHA, thespians, and newspaper staff, where she served for two years. Terri was a class officer for three years, junior high cheerleader for two years, and vice-president of the Junior High National Honor Society her freshman year. She was awarded the Pauline Stout Scholarship to attend FHA camp and was named to Who's Who Among American High School Students. Terri's favorite pastimes were cheering and being with Mike. Getting a secretarial job was her future plans. LYNN REED KING Lynn always seemed to be getting into or out of trouble. He was vice-president of Hearts Unlimited, president of the senior class and lettered in football and basketball. King played two years of football and basketball at St. Francis before coming to CBHS where he played football and basketball for one year. Lynn could usually be found with Jeannie or running around with Mark, Greg and Jamie. He also enjoyed playing the guitar. Lynn's future plans were to get a job. MARION LEE KING Marion was one of the tallest guys in the senior class and well deserved his nickname Stretch. He was an FFA member for two years and treasurer of the newly-formed math club. Marion's pastimes of reading and studying paid off when he was named to Who's Who Among American High School Students. He planned to become a math teacher after attending Fairmont State College. TAMARA JEAN KING Tami, small but mighty, spent her spare time running around with Sara and Donna in her T-bird. Tami worked as an office aid as well as on the Stinger Staff. She also belonged to Hearts Unlimited, Environmental Club, Pep Club and thespians. Tami participated on the track team for one year and was still undecided about her future plans. Seniors CLIFFORD LANE LEWIS Cliff's interests in horses were evident through his membership in FFA, West Virginia Contest Riders Association, Daybrook Saddle Club, and West Virginia Quarterhorse Association. For his riding ability, Cliff received awards for the Youth Barrels and Horse Proficiency. He also received the Chapter and Green Hand Awards in FFA. Other than horses. Cliff's hobbies were girls, trucks, and fun. Getting a job was his plan for the future. CLYDE H. LEWIS. JR. Clyde was a member of the Hearts Unlimited and was involved in sports as well. Flybarrel,as his friends called him, lettered in basketball and track. He enjoyed driving his car, snake hunting, and going to parties. Clyde planned to work in the coal mines after graduation. ROY DEAN LUCAS Athletically inclined, Roy was named to the All County and All Mason-Dixon Football teams and All Mason-Dixon Jr. High Basketball team because of his performances during four years of basketball and two years of football. He also played baseball and track at CBHS. Roy was initiated into the Honor Society during his senior year and was chosen to attend World Affairs Institute in 1976. Luke” enjoyed playing golf, fishing, and attending sports events. Obtaining a college degree in Industrial or Mining Engineering was Roy's future plans. SHARON LOUISE McCABE Sharon, who preferred to be called Shawn, attended Vo-Tech her senior year and specialized in nursing. She was both a cafeteria and library aid, and also a Hearts Unlimited member. Sharon planned to get a job at a hospital and be a good wife to Kenny. KATHY SUE MARSHALL Kathy was an active participant in the CB Band of which she belonged for six years. A fine flutist and baton twirler, Kathy has held such positions as feature twirier. Head Majorette, president of the band. Drum Majorette, and was chosen as a candidate for the All State Band. She was in the Varsity Chorus, FHA, and a four-year member of the Thespians. During her senior year Kathy was a library aid and historian of her class. She liked to participate in outdoor sports, play her flute, and be with Wayne. Kathy's future plans were to marry Wayne and reside in Mannington. JEANNIE DARLENE MILL1RON Jeannie, better known as Weiner, was an active member of the girls basketball team and track team. For her talent in basketball, Jeannie was named to the Sectional All Tournament team. She enjoyed playing softball and basketball, horseback riding, and being with Lynn.
