Seniors DEBRA LYNN GARRETT Debbie always had a cheerful smile for everyone. She enjoyed reading, singing, and crocheting while she was not busy with school activities such as FHA and National Honor Society to which she belonged. Debbie was one of the senior girls who worked as an office aid one period of the day. Her plans for the future were undecided. DEBBIE ANN BROOKOVER GOLDEN Debbie held the position of president of the Class of '77 for three years. She was active in Pep Club, Hearts Unlimited, FHA, Thespians, and served on the yearbook staff as well. During her Sophomore year, Brookover was secretary of the Student Council and served as student advisor her junior and senior years. She was a candidate for Prom Queen, chosen 1st Runner-Up for the Clay District Fair, and was voted 2nd Attendant for Homecoming '76. Debbie liked skiing, partying, and always having a good time. RICKY ALLEN HARVEY Ricky was interested in mechanics and planned to enter that field upon graduating from high school. He was a member of Hearts Unlimited, FFA, and Chess Club. Harvey enjoyed playing ping pong, riding bikes, swimming, and skiing. He was the senior escort in the Jingle Bell Ball Court. BETH ANISE HAUGHT Beth was one of the busiest and most active girls in her class. During her senior year, Beth was president of the National Honor Society, vice-president of the Student Council and FHA, and editor of the Liberanni Staff. In addition to serving as cheerleader for five years, she represented CBHS at Know Your State Government Day, Rhodendron Girls' State, and as Honor Girl and Family Leader of Tomorrow. Although she liked to play softball and tennis, Beth's favorite pastime was being with Randy. Her future plans were to attend Fairmont State and receive a degree in Elementary Education. JAMES W. HAUGHT, JR. Jamie was very athletic. He lettered in varsity football three years, varsity basketball two years, and track four years. While not participating in sports, Jambo was a member of Hearts Unlimited where he served as secretary. He also held class offices for two years. Jamie's hobbies were playing football and partying. His future plans were to get married and work in the coal mines. JO ANN HOLMES Jo Ann spent her senior year at one of the hardest jobs in school - head varsity cheerleader. She deserved this title after having served her school as cheerleader for six years. Jo Ann also participated in FHA, Thespians, Hearts Unlimited, and the Newspaper Staff. She was chosen 1st Attendant of the Homecoming Court and All-Tournament Cheerleader 1976. Jo's future plans were to go to Fairmont State and become a Legal Secretary.
