Seniors CONNIE RUTH BARR Connie was one of three senior girls who sang in the Varsity Chorus. Rooster, as she was called by her friends, enjoyed horseback and bicycle riding, hiking and traveling. After graduation Connie planned to get a job and get married. KATHRYN JO BARTLETT Kathy hailed from Wadestown and could be counted on to do her share of the work. She served in the cafeteria for three years and belonged to FFA and Hearts Unlimited. Kathy was a candidate for Prom Queen, and enjoyed swimming, horseback riding and motorcycle riding. Her future plans were to find a job and marry eventually. M1CHEAL LYNN BRUMMAGE Although Mike was a member of Hearts Unlimited, Pep Club, and Thespians, his main interest was going to Wadestown to play tennis and pool. During his junior year Mikie played football and picked the lucky rose at the Prom. Mike was undecided about future plans. MARCIA LEA CAMPBELL Marcia was one of the more active Future Homemakers and a talented seamstress. She was also a member of the Spanish Club and queen candidate for the Prom, Homecoming and Sweethearts Ball. Marcia’s name appeared frequently on the honor roll, enabling her to join the Honor Society and represent CBHS to the World Affairs Institute. The career college was where Marcia planned to further her education. SHELLEY ANN CHISLER Secretary of the Student Council, FHA reporter. Stinger Staff member, and Majorette were some of the titles that kept Shelley busy during her school years. Shelley was also president and vice-president of Thespian Troop 54, and a member of Pep Club, Hearts Unlimited and Environmental Club. She was a Jr. High cheerleader in 7th grade and an alternate in the 9th. In her junior year, she was selected to attend World Affairs Institute, presented a speech for United Nations Pilgrimage, and was first attendant for the Jingle Bell Ball. Shelley has been a queen candidate for Homecoming, Junior Carnival, Jingle Bell Ball and Sweethearts Ball, in which she was named first attendant also. In her spare time???, Shelley enjoys traveling, photography, hiking, and cooking. Her future plans were to pursue a career in interior decorating and dress designing. JANICE KAY CLARK Janice had such a great ambition to get ahead that she graduated in January and enrolled in Nursing at WVU. While here, Janice was a member of FFA, FHA, anc treasurer of the Spanish Club. She received her eight year pin in 4-H and was past worthy advisor of the Rainbow Girls. Janice was named to Who’s Who Among American High School Students and was a candidate for Prom, Homecoming and Sweethearts Ball Queen. Her hobbies were cooking and sewing.
