Twelve years ago you began preparing for this. During these years you have taken the best that we could offer you. 1 only hope it has prepared you to accept the challenges that await you. Do not look upon this graduation as the end of learning as you must continue to learn from your experiences. Once you stop learning you stop living. I sincerely thank you for the leadership you have displayed at Clay-Battelle High School this year. I also thank you for the cooperation and respect you have shown me during my first year as your principal. She was an animal-lover and enjoyed talking to Greg on the phone, as well as in person. Not only has she been Vice-President of the senior class, but she has also been Vice-President of Public Relations and a Reporter for FHA, a Thespian, and a member of the Newspaper and Yearbook staff. Linda was the Clay-Battelle Prom Queen of ”74 and she was also a Homecoming Queen Candidate. Linda was uncertain about her plans for the future. RANDOLPH KEITH AMMONS Please Come to Boston” ”F. He had acquired the nickname of Rabbit” for reasons unknown to us. Rabbit was a member of Future Farmers of America. He planned to enlist in the army after high school for at least three years. DEBBIE BERRY One of our few female Vo. Tech, students, Kee Bee's hobbies were being with her friends, Kathy, along with boys, boys and more boys, which explains her attendance at Vo. Tech. A candidate for Prom Queen, Sweethearts Ball Queen, and the Homecoming Queen, Deb still hasn’t convinced us that her pet peeve was Brad Fischer. She has belonged to such organizations as the Pep Club, Hearts Unlimited, FHA, and Vica, a club held at Vocational School. Debbie wants to complete her school years as a Licensed Practical Nurse, and along the way, settle down with that special someone. KAREN SUE CALVERT Havin' My Baby Mole” was one of our Vo. Tech, students in nursing, she enjoyed reading, riding horses, and cooking. Karen was an active member of FHA for four years, Prom Queen Candidate, and belonged to the Vica Club at Vo. Tech. Karen's main interests were haning around Patti and Karen. Her future plans were to become a nurse and eventually get a new car. MARK TRUMAN CHISLER Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me Mark was one of the most active senior boys throughout his high school years. He was Historian'of the senior class, Treasurer of the National Honor Scoiety, Assistant Treasurer of FFA, a member of the Newspaper staff, voted as Best Dressed boy of the senior class, and active in basketball. Although his hobbies were sports and flying, his pet peeve was someone who deviled him about sports constantly. PAUL EDWIN CLARK ''Ed” was voted Most Scholarly in the senior class. He was President of FFA, President of the Honor Society, and was in Lettermen.
