It is my desire that each succeeding class that graduates from this school will go out better prepared to meet the complexities and requirements of modern life than the last. l think, that person, has a liberal education who has been so trained that his body is the ready servant of his will, and does with ease and pleasure all the work that it is capable of doingg whose mind is stored with the great and fundamental truths of Nature and of the laws of her operationsg one who is full of life and fire, but whose passions are trained to obey a vigorous will. the servant of a tender conscience who has learned to love all beauty, to hate all vileness. and to respect all others as himself. I believe the school is obligated to provide a situation wherein this type of education may be had by each student. To this end I pledge my best efforts.
