Velda Tennant . Velda. better known as Vet. enjoys herself almost every where she is. Vet spends a good deal of her time working onthe school paper and year- book. Vet has two pet p e e v e s -- teachers and boys. She complains a lot about her school work but she really enjoys school. Harriet Mae Tuttle Harriet Mae comes from Xkfadestown. Her favorite pastime is running around. She is on the yearbook staff. She is also kept busy managing the sen'or class money. Harriet Mae is uauxlly found with the XVadestown bunch. She is noted for her seat in linglish class in front of Johnny Bill, Talking to him is her weakness. Sue Wilson Sue hails from Day- brook. She is ra t h e r quiet, but she gets into her share of michief. She is a member of the year- book staff and belongs to the F.H.A. Her favorite food is cherry pie and ice cream. Her ambition is to get a man. sixteen Wayne Tennent, .lr. Wayne. sometimes known as Willie. is the class comic. Wayne en- joys playing football and baseball. He also enjoys eating and singing. lf he couldn't whistle or sing, he would be lonesome. Wayne is a memiber of the Thespians, F.F.A.. and a member of the year- book business staff. He seldom lets his st u d i e s bother him. Mary K ay Wiley Mischievous Mary Kay is an active member in the senior class. Being a member of the paper and yearbook staff keeps her busy in that held. Mary Kay is also a member of the F.H.A. She is usually seen with Harriet and Colleen. Her favorite food is spaghetti. Jack Yost Jack hails from Core and enjoys sports, When afked what he liked to eat, his answer was FOOD. He also enjoys weekends. Jack is a mem- ber of the FPA. and a past member of the band. He likes very much to visit Morgantown High School. Wonder why?

Donald Sine Don comes from Jakes Run and his favorite oc- cupation is r u n n i n g around. His future hope is to go to college and study to be a mechanical engineer. Don is well liked by his school mates. Don at- tended the State Student Council meeting at Jack- son's Mill th i s y e a r. Cherry pie with ice cream is his favorite food. Glenn Stiles Glenn. now a member of the Air Force where he intends to complete his high school requirements, joined our class as a junior. G l e n n enjoyed taking part in all sports. although he was ineligible to be a part of our team. His sparkling blue eyes and friendly personality made him well liked by tboth classmates and teach- ers. Stuart Strosnider .Stuart comes to Clay- Battelle from Wana. He is more interested in runf ning around than school work. .Stuart was noted for his part in the Junior Variety show as one of the Negro thieves. You will usually find him run- ning around with Ray- mond. lf Stuart can't be fo u n d at Wadestown, just look for him on the Range. Jim Ross Tennant Jim Ross is more in- terested in sports and a certain girl than in his studies. He is very court- eous and cooperative, This has won him the respect of his teachers and class- mates. Jim h ails from Daytbrook and can be seen most of the time driving a green Pontiac. Jim likes to coon hunt in his spare time. Edgar Stiles Eddie is the athletic type and has played three y e a r s of football and basketball. He hails from Wadestown, b ut enjoys spending most of his time at Brave and Crossroads. Eddie, along with some other senior boys, is noted for getting as much bread in the cafeteria at noon as he can eat. Eddie is small but he is noted for his fast running ability. Raymond Stiles Raymond, also known as Badleg, is one of the class clowns. He can usually be found some- place with Stuart. Ray- mond managed the foot- ball team this year. He seems to get enjoyment out of blowing his horn at certain people in the middle of the night. Badleg also manages to get enough to eat in the cafeteria. Ellen Tennant Ellen has light red hair and 'hazel eyes. She is on the art staff of the year- book and enjoys art work very much. .She is usually found with Shirley and Jo Ann. Other than school work Ellen enjoys writing letters to Ohio. She plans to be a good wife aft-er graduation. Susan Tennant Susie hails from Blacks- ville and one of her in- terests is art work. She is also on the yearbook staff. She is quiet and usually manages to keep out of mischief. Susan hasn't yet decided what her future will be, brut she is wearing a diamond on her left hand. ftfteen
