DR. MACDOUGALD receives his honorary degree from Dr. Francis H. Horn, President of the University of Rhode Island. Closed Circuit Television, and Latin WILLIAM T. MACDOUGALD Native of Providence and product of its public schools, you have in turn invested your time and talent over the past thirty-two years to make the Providence school system ever stronger and more successful. Since 1959 you have been principal of the state's most distinguished public high school, now engaged in an exciting program of physical expansion and academic re-evaluation. An engi- neering graduate of this University, with education degrees from Rhode Island College and Boston Uni- versity, your teaching of science and mathematics, your work as a guidance counselor, and your expe- rience as a junior and senior high school principal, have made you one of the outstanding school administrators of New England, recognized and esteemed by your educational colleagues.
