Every student is required to take Scientific Geography, Oklahoma History, and American His- tory. For those wishing to further their knowledge of previous deeds and heroic adventures, there are more advanced history courses, such as Government, World History, Psychology, and Economics. History is never changing. By learning about the lives of our forefathers, we are taught to be better Americans. MR. M. J. Math Offers nz Hlzallerzgc Here at Classen such courses as Algebra, Geom- etry, Trigonometry, Physics, and Math Analysis are the more advanced electives that are offered for the mathematics major. Seventh and eighth grade math, applied math, and senior math are required, according to one's program of studies. Mathematics will always be considered one of the most important subjects high school has to offer. Classen is proud that its teachers are well qualified to guide all interested students to knowl- edge of this rewarding field. Those interested in math may have the opportunity to rise into more difficult and involved courses. The math student realizes that any rewards must he earned and he must challenge himself.
